slug.

That’s what I feel like.

I big, slow slug with glasses & sweatpants. Which I guess would really be a big tube because slugs don’t have legs.

But I digress…

Sorry for the abscence this past week, my family came in town which was beyond wonderful but with an additional party of 5 in our house we managed to stay pretty darn busy. Which lucky for me is exactly how I like it. Bad for blogging however.

I took them to the airport today which was really sad, one of these days I want to write a post about living away from family, it sucks. But not today, I’m too emotionally drained. And physically drained. And possibly really sick. I think my birth control is making me sick, tmi, I knowww.

So yeah, I’m rambling. I really just wanted to pop in and say hi, let you know I’m still here, I’m sorry for neglecting you & am going to do my best to get back on track this week.

Rally slug-girl, rally.

I too live far away from my family. It is heartbearking. Especially now that I have a nephew and twin nieces. I am forever trying to find a job closer to my family. But also have to embrace where I live. Bloom where I’m planted, etc. I feel your pain!

Have you considered an IUD? I didn’t want to do any more hormones, so went with a non-hormonal IUD. They last 10 years and can be taken out easily if you decide you need another baby after all. :) Anyway, hope you feel better soon!
